Civic Integration Support Program
Target AudienceNewly arrived Arab refugees and migrants in Germany within their first three years of residence
A community-based program supporting newly arrived Arab refugees and migrants in navigating German civic life. The program provides orientation sessions, legal literacy workshops, language support, and peer mentoring to help participants understand their rights, access public services, and build social connections in their new communities.
Results & Outcomes
Since its launch, the program has supported thousands of individuals in their integration journeys across four German cities.
- Over 1,200 individuals supported across Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, and Munich.
- 85 community orientation sessions delivered in Arabic and German.
- 120 peer mentors trained and deployed to support newcomers.
- Partnerships established with 8 municipal integration offices.
- 78% of participants reported improved understanding of their legal rights and public services.
